OLDS — The team of Cathy Spicer and Keith Newton won the 2023 Sim’s Furniture Mixed Open, held Aug. 13 at the Olds Golf Club.
Spicer and Newton shot a two-under-par 70, edging out two other teams -- Gail Dezall and Mike Dezall as well as Christiana Weseen and Bob Weseen -- by just one stroke.
A total of 110 players participated in the tournament in sunny conditions.
