November 18, 1944 – January 28, 2025
It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Allan David Stair, on January 28th at the age of 80 years. Lovingly remembered by his children, Tammy (Dale), Teresa (Keith), Dawn, John (Michelle), Bradley (Holly). Grandchildren, John, Dalaura (Brandon), Dustin (Paige), Brendan, Corbin, Quintin, Madison, Rozlyn and great grandchild, Claire.
Allan was predeceased by his wife Margaret of 55 years, parents Dean and Roberta Stair, siblings Barb, Linda and Donnie. Survived by siblings Dorothy & Marilyn.
Born in Brooks, Alberta, moving to the Cremona area in 1947. Allan had a love for Trapping, Fishing, Hunting, Camping, Rodeo and always time for a game of Crib. Allan worked in the Oilfield, consulting, surveying as well as; heavy equipment operating, over the span of 5 decades, which also included time at various saw mills, local hay plant and within the forestry industry.
Allan’s main passion though, was his love for their animals and living life on the farm.
In his younger days, his time was spent Bull Riding, Bull Fighting and Saddle Bronc, carting his young family throughout the rodeo circuit.
Allan will be greatly missed by many lifelong friends; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, fondly remembered for his helping hand and always time for a coffee.
