I am writing this to offer my heartfelt apology to Ms. Lisa Nicholson, volunteers and board of the Hope 4 MVC Kids organization for my words that were published in the article
It was not my intent to disrespect or call into question the incredible benefit that this organization brings into the entire community.
As a councillor, it is my role to bring forward concerns from the community about the grant request. However, in this situation I should have chosen my words more carefully.
