A partnership between Stoney Nakoda First Nation and The Language Conservancy (TLC) aims to preserve and restore the Stoney language for current and future generations of speakers through the creation of new educational resources.

The leaders of Indigenous communities downstream from oilsands developments say many of their questions about releasing treated tailings water into the Athabasca River have gone unanswered by the federal government and industry groups.
