OLDS — Total 2024 remuneration to Town of Olds council members was well under budget as of Dec. 31, according to a report issued recently.
All told, 2024 remuneration totalled $318,208, with eight per cent remaining, well below the $347,342 budget.
Those figures were contained in a report delivered by corporate services director Sheena Linderman to town council in recent weeks
Mayor Judy Dahl’s remuneration stood at $66,761, with two per cent remaining, compared to the budgeted figure of $67,858.
Coun. Wanda Blatz’s remuneration stood at $40,035, with eight per cent remaining, compared to the budgeted figure of $43,719.
Coun. James Cummings’ total stood at $47,224 with two per cent remaining, under the $48,294 budget.
Coun. Dan Daley’s remuneration was at $41,231, with 18 per cent remaining. His budgeted figure was $50,074.
Coun. Heather Ryan’s remuneration figure stood at $43,873 with four per cent remaining. A total of $45,699 was budgeted for her.
Remuneration for Harvey Walsh stood at $37,651 with 20 per cent remaining. A total of $47,249 had been budgeted for him.
Coun. Darren Wilson’s remuneration stood at $41,432 with seven per cent remaining. A total of $44,449 had been budgeted for him.
“Overall, all of council has come in under budget,” Linderman said.
