Dear Editor The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #105 would like to take this opportunity to thank the community of Olds for the wonderful support of the poppy campaign. This has been our best campaign. To date, we have collected in excess of $21,000.

Dear editor The federal Conservative government will forgo a surplus this year and instead borrow money to pay for income splitting and other new tax measures, according to its own fall economic update.
