The rush of emotions that came over me while reading the story on page nine of this issue titled 鈥淜ittens found in dumpster鈥� was overwhelming. A mix of anger, heartache, frustration, and so much more led me to write this column.

I am done with this winter. But hold on. It is not even winter yet. But this is Central Alberta where autumn is forever lost. We have extended summers but no autumn.

As a citizen of Innisfail,I am glad to hear that Innisfail is concerned about the safety of its senior citizens. My husband and I have been living here for 17 years.

The ignorance emanating from Bob Scammell's Oct. 10 Outdoors column in the Red Deer Advocate is bewildering.

There is the old adage that nothing happens in this world by mistake, that there are no coincidences and the world will unfold exactly as it should. And so it is with this year's municipal elections in both Innisfail and Penhold.
