The town's flu vaccination clinic at the Sundre Community Centre will be open this month following the province's decision last week to reinstate the use of the Agriflu influenza vaccine.

Sundre's financial institutions are rallying to help east side residents who are under pressure to meet a town imposed deadline to pay a $7,000 fee to connect to the new multi-million dollar water and waste water service lines.

There is a new board for the 2012/13 season at the Sundre and District Aqua Plex. The new president is 53-year-old Tamara Smith, who arrived in town four years ago from Olds.

As Miss Rodeo Canada Arleta Bowhay must be a smooth and skilled ambassador no matter what the circumstance. In fact, she was even called upon to swim with crocodiles.

We Day celebrates the youth movement for local and global change. On Oct. 24, 20 students were picked from River Valley School's Me To We club to go to an inspirational concert in Calgary and listen to people speaking about making a difference.

For the first time since 2005 a committee of citizens at large will be created to review the pay structures for members of town council. On Oct. 15, council members were asked to look at a motion to review the revised council remuneration policy.
